WE ARE BROKEN

We are nothing but pencils in the hand of the creator. We are nothing but broken pencils...
You might be wondering why I have rewritten this famous super story quote. Don't worry, I'll explain.

You see, our fathers were not perfect but they did very well is portraying perfection in order to influence us properly. So has it gone down to these people the society refers to as influencers and by influencers, I don't mean the Instagram glorified influencers, I mean the top players in fields we find ourselves like in Politics, Entertainments and all that you can think about. You see, these guys tried to question the norm and showed us how imperfect they are but in some ways, they left a lot of things out. They show us what they needed to see when they were our age but failed to show us what we need to see (as per time has changed). You see, Ben Carson wasn't always intelligent but here he is now, A celebrated surgeon, what happens to the intelligent ones? Bill Gate didn't finish school, he had it figured out when he was young and here he is today. What happened to those that graduated but took them time to figure out their lives?

What is the point for all this plenty talk you might ask, and I shall tell you. You see, this generation that we exist in, these 18 years old to maybe 25 years don't all have life figured out. Now, we get influenced by someone that has numbers on Instagram and we start aiming to become things that wouldn't put us in the top 10 richest Forbes list or actually make a difference that is action based and not conversation based. What is it that we're thinking about right now, or even doing that is meant to make a difference? we have more people in entertainment than in medicine or law or engineering. Just allow me to complain! I know you know what I'm saying is true. Social media has broken us, and I'm glad that there are a few trying to fix people with these social media platforms, but I'll love to help you understand that you can only help those that understand the language you speak. And this brings me to where it started from. Don't come to me about life with some Tony Robbins quotes or some from Mario Forlio. These people might be saying the truth but they don't speak our language, they don't seem to me like they have an idea what we are going through on social media. I mean, they have an entire team dedicated to handling their social media pages so how will they know what we pass through after seeing our neighbour's twerk video hit 10k views in 1 hour. So please, come to us clean, show us how imperfect you are and how you made your imperfection work for you so we can learn from you. THANKS

Please, what's your take on this issue?
It'll be of great honor to see your opinions
I need to know if I'm running mad thinking about this alone or there are people with me.
