FROM KUBWA TO DUBAI EP. 1

So yes! I’m in Dubai.
It’s a really amazing place, the experience so far is maaaaad!

Okay back to the matter at hand. I did a poll on Instagram asking if i should write about my experience or Nigeria’s problem and everybody wanted to hear about my experience. Look here, I’m not that kinda guy so I’ll write about both.

I’ve been here only two days and I realised something. You see, Dubai is only 47, you can see a lot of unfinished buildings looking better than the whole of Lagos. That’s not my problem tho. I noticed they put a lot of sacrifice into making the place better and they’re busy making money from peoples fear! We visited Atlantis and we tried the leap of faith first. Let me gist you! Who in the world created something like that!?? I’m afraid of heights and I’m falling off a really tall slide with water! I’m falling down without knowing where I’m going to. I’m falling thinking i can fall off the slide, fall on the ground and just DIE. Like that. Just die. But thank God sha. It was an amazing experience. As a Benin man that i am, my fear took the best of me and i chilled. Lowkey, i wanted to rock the leap of faith like ten more times but... Na story for another day be that. On a more serious note, when you visit Dubai, please visit Atlantis and rock that leap of faith. Trust me, after that one time, you’ll love God more and you’ll appreciate gravity more than anything.

Back to Nigeria’s problem. We have a long way to go. We might get there before end time but i believe in the country. We can do great things (but will we?)

Make sure you refresh and comment oh! I have more Dubai posts coming. And make sure you follow me on IG to catch the story as they’re happening. See you soon.
